Basic Life Support (BLS)
This basic life support qualification will give a learner the knowledge and practical competence required to be able to provide crucial assistance to a casualty in an emergency until medical assistance arrives, potentially saving a life. The qualification covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), primary survey, the recovery position and choking.
This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA).
Emergency First Aid @ Work (EFAW)
The learner will attain knowledge and the practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations.
The FAA Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is unit 1 of the three-day FAA First Aid at Work qualification. From gaining this qualification learners could progress to completing unit 2 and being awarded the FAA First Aid at Work qualification.
First Aid @ Work (FAW)
This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.
In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that may have arisen since their last training course. This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Emergency First Aid @ Work (6hr course)
The learner will attain knowledge and the practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations.
The FAA Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is unit 1 of the three-day FAA First Aid at Work qualification.
From gaining this qualification learners could progress to completing unit 2 and being awarded the FAA First Aid at Work qualification.

First Aid @ Work (3 day course): Where a workplace first aid risk assessment identifies a need for a First Aider in the Workplace, this three-day qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
The learner will attain knowledge and the practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations.

COURSE SYLLABUS: This very practical course will enable you to use the AED competently and with confidence.
